Chartered Psychologist
Sarah is a Chartered Psychologist and Systemic Practitioner and who is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (‘HCPC’) and the British Psychological Society (‘BPS’). Sarah qualified as a Counselling Psychologist in 1999 from the University of Surrey. She has many years’ experience working with children and adults on the autism spectrum both within the NHS as well as in private organisations. Sarah is trained to administer, score and interpret the findings of both the ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and the DISCO (Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders).
Sarah’s special interests include women and girls with ASD and low arousal approaches and strategies for people with ASD and their carer’s and families.
Sarah has also worked in Community Mental Health services in the NHS and in Singapore. She provides training, clinical supervision and consultation regarding ASD and Mental Health across a range of settings. Sarah is also trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
